Kaw River staff and administrators lied to me for 2 1/2 days about my friend, legal guardian. A staff member stole his phone went off property with it. Hospice workers and police help me get it back to him. He's end of life DNR, And court order CMO, comfort measures only. Life 360 on the phone I bought. Administrators and staff lied to me until I called the police, this ended Friday, working on over Juneteenth holiday weekend to have him transferred to a facility that doesn't lie and steal from patients. These people are a joke, Monday Kan Care, and Medicare for fruand, abuse, neglect and theft.

Many patients with mental health issues and staff not trained to address them. Leadership team is every man for themselves but wants to portray a different truth. Corporate does not address serious leadership issues when presented with them which has lead to a large exodus of staff in the past 60 days. The actually rating of the facility is one star for personnel turnover. Residents are delightful.

I recently visited the nursing home where my mother-in-law resides and was thoroughly impressed by the level of care and attention she receives. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Flo, Teresa, Stacy, and Joe the janitor. Their exceptional service and personal updates about my mother-in-law’s wellbeing truly made me feel she is loved and valued. Upon my first visit, I was immediately reassured by the cleanliness of the facility, as there were no unpleasant odors—a common concern for families. Living far away in Houston, it’s crucial for us to know she is in good hands, and this facility has undoubtedly met our expectations. The staff's attention to detail is evident in the personal care provided; her hair was neatly groomed, and her nails were well-manicured, thanks to an on-site nail station. The facility offers numerous engaging activities, including garden planting and various clubs, which are great for residents’ socialization and enjoyment. What sets this place apart is the consistency in care. Regardless of when I visited, the quality of service and the genuine care shown to all residents remained constant. It’s heartwarming to see residents treated as family, which is often a rarity in such settings. If you’re looking for a facility where your loved ones will receive genuine care and have opportunities to form meaningful relationships and stay active, I highly recommend this nursing home. The staff's dedication to the residents' wellbeing and the warm community environment they foster are truly commendable.

Staff is all right and the facility is clean looks like a place we are comfortable leaving our loved one. And I also noticed how they go over and beyond their duty to make sure the people are comfortable and the facility is clean and running smooth
