My mother lives there due to her dementia. From my understanding they give her good care. However, these people have no clue how to use their own phone system. 5 times since Thursday I have tried to call to get transferred to my mother to let her know how her new grandbaby (my first child) is doing since he was born on this past Thursday. All 5 times the woman at the desk has transferred to the voicemail of some HR director. Every time I called in the past, they would transfer me to this guy. Usually I'd call back and the 2nd time would be successful. Not anymore apparently. So I said "screw it" and left. A message for the HR director letting him know that the people at the front desk have no clue how their phone system works. My sister constantly gets disconnected during the transfer. So if you ever want to talk to you family members who need a rehab center on the phone during their time at such a place, I would choose elsewhere because otherwise you may never talk to them again.

My mother was there for a short time in which she was transferred from another facility. Sheila's honesty about her current condition allowed her to get hospice and less suffering for my mother, I also want to thank the hospice nurse who was there the day of her passing who was honest about her estimated time left. It allowed us closure. Honesty goes a long way. Thank you for your attentive staff on the memory unit, may God keep Blessing you all.

My mom is in rehab section. The staff is excellent to her. I saw doctor when she was admitted and not since. U can only use their doctor, however. Sign on wall says patient has right to their own doctor. My mom's feet and hands swell horrible lately. I think she has CHF. I get few answers when I inquire. Have wouldn't put my loved one in the skilled or memory care there. The rehab has great people working there. I saw a gal that works there get out of a car other day. Car and her smelled lie horrible weed! Omg, it was awful. I haven't seen her in rehab section.

If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. My mother passed away last week after 15 months of being admitted here. She did not receive the care she deserved, she was neglected, and starved to death. Her health declined severally in the last 6 months after they started sedating her without our permission. She went from 185 lbs to 106 lbs in a matter of months. She developed a kidney infection that put her in the hospital for over a week and then pneumonia shortly after. She also got extremely weak so she couldn't feed herself and they did nothing to help her eat. If she was sleeping all the time, then she couldn't tell them she didn't feel well. And if she was sleeping all the time then she wasn't eating. When she was awake she was like a zombie. When my sister would call to check on her, many times they would lie and say she was doing good. We only kept her here because there were no places with open beds with a memory care unit. She had over 14 falls, busted her head open and required stitches. The last accident before she passed away, she broke her wrist and they could never give us a straight story of how it happened. They tried to blame her death to Alzeimers, but she had just been diagnosed 3 years before. She was not that far gone. She would dress herself, put make up on, etc. The only way you could tell she had Alzeimers is because she was forgetful and she would repeat herself over and over. She was very talkative and loved to talk to people. Had we ordered an autopsy, it would have proven that her body shut down due to starvation and lack of nutrients but we did not order the autopsy because my mother would not have wanted to be cut up. The only reason we kept her here is because there were no beds open at the other places that had a memory care unit. Please spare yourself the heartbreak and DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE.

They let my sister lay there until it was to late to do anything for her. My sister told me she was sick and needed to go to the hospital but they had her husband believing she was getting better. She told me this. That they had him fooled. A lot of us could see she wasn't "fine". But we were not the ones that had the power to do anything. Apparently the nursing staff doesn't monitor the patients as they should or they would have know she wasn't "fine". By the time they finely called an ambulance to get her to the hospital, it was to late. As far as I'm concerned, it was their actions, or lack of, that killed her. With the exception of one or two employee's, the rest of them are not nice at all. They just don't care
