La Hacienda was highly recommended to me. The girls ( staff) and owners are extremely caring and patient. They also really have an amazing facility this home is very intimate, and nurturing environment. The owners are amazing. The staff was so caring and helpful. I really love the fact that my love one was safe and watched over 24 hour seven days a week some thing that I was not able to do anymore. What really stood out was the individual schedule and menu they had personalize for each persons needs. This is why I chose La Hacienda they made the transition a lot easier.

Can’t say enough about the level of care Mirian and Raul Velazquez provide to our Uncle Francois. Francois requires assisted care to deal with his illness (Stage IV Cancer) and Mirian capably and professionally attends to his needs. He is very pleased with the accommodations that make him feel at home and with the home-cooked meals Mirian provides – especially her soups. Unlike some of the other care facilities we looked at, Francois’ room provides access to outdoor views of the grounds and orchard and if he is up to it, he can be wheeled outside to enjoy the warm sunshine and spend time with Max the Velazquez’ pet dog. Max is very social with a “therapy dog” charm about him. Having looked at a number of care facilities, we needed a place that provided bilingual staff as Francois is fluent in French and Spanish. This was especially important to him so that he could fully comprehend the level of care (personal and medical) received, or that he desired. We were very fortunate to find Hacienda Living. It provides the warmth of a home, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere; and, most of all, around the clock attention and level of required care to residents especially during these challenging times. POSTSCRIPT In follow up to my review of Hacienda Living I want to thank Miriam and Raul for their attentiveness to Francois. They were both at his side at the time of his passing on the 22nd of January. You could sense their sadness and grief during the last moments of his life. It was as if they too had lost a relative. My family and I are eternally grateful for their care and compassion.

My friends grandma was staying here. Super well cared for, eat well, very clean facility. It’s a loving home for them. Great place for our love ones to be at.Highly recommend this facility. Miriam are the best people you can meet. Very responsible and caring.

My mom and I toured Hacienda Living while looking for a place to move my dad who had late stage Alzheimer’s. From the moment we walked in we loved it there. It smelled like home cooked food and just felt homey.You could tell Raul and Mirian really cared about the people they cared for. My dad spent his last days there and the care that he received was wonderful. He was laughing and smiling and you could tell he was at peace. We are forever grateful to Mirian and Raul for making my dads last days so wonderful.
