I recently visited Island Assisted Living in Hempstead NY and was truly impressed by the facility. From the moment you walk in, you get a very positive feeling. The facility is clean, bright, and very well maintained. It has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel that residents are genuinely cared for and respected. What stood out to me most was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I would feel very comfortable recommending Island Assisted Living to anyone looking for a place where their loved one can feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

I have been residing at Island Assisted for about 3 months. I have no complaints the rooms are clean and everything is done nicely. I would recommend Island Assisted Living to anyone in my own family who requires Assisted Living. The food is good I like it and it keeps me on a healthy diet a d it's close to my relatives which is a plus so they can come by and visit whenever they want.

Island Assisted Living is an exceptional place that truly cares. I can not say enough wonderful things about this Assisted Living Community and the incredible care that they have provided for my brother. After undergoing triple bypass surgery, my brother was also dealing with Parkinson's, and our family knew that he needed a safe, supportive environment where he could receive the care and attention he deserved. Choosing the right place for him was one of the most important decisions we have ever had to make, and I am grateful that we found this community. From the moment we placed him here, the staff made us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that he was in good hands. They have been incredibly compassionate, patient, attentive and supportive. They treat him with dignity and respect while also making sure that his individual needs are being addressed every day. What has been especially amazing to see is the improvement in his overall health and well-being since coming here. After everything he went through with his heart surgery and while managing Parkinson's we were understandably concerned about how he would adjust and how his health would progress. The care, supervision, encouragement and daily support he receives have made such a positive difference. Seeing him doing better, becoming more comfortable and enjoying a better quality of life has been incredibly reassuring for our entire family. The staff has also been wonderful about communicating with us and keeping us informed. It means so much to know that when we can not be there, there are caring professionals looking out for him and making sure that he is safe and comfortable. I truly believe that the environment and care he receives here have played a major role in his improvement. It is more than just a place for him to live, it has become a place where he feels care for, supported, and valued. Our family is extremely happy with our decision, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this Assisted Living community to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate home for a loved one.

Island Assisted Living does a wonderful job taking care of my stepgrandfather, a veteran who has always been very brave and self reliant. As he entered his 90s living alone in Riverdale, the Bronx it became increasingly difficult for him. As we are now in Suffolk County Long Island we are glad we could find something commutable so we can visit him. The compassionate staff at Island Assisted Living provided him with the care, support and comfort he needed at his advanced age. Our family is truly grateful for this type of support.
