My mom received in-home care from Interim for a short time, then as her Alzheimer's progressed and she moved to Assisted Living, Interim provided hospice care to supplement the facility's care. As her care needs increased, requiring a move, my Interim care rep in Topeka helped identify a suitable facility closer to me in Lawrence, making for a smooth transition to an Interim rep in Lawrence. ALL of my mom's Interim caregivers treated her with dignity and respect and provided me with regular reports and counsel as her health declined. I was especially appreciative of how they helped me understand her disease and the dying process - and was touched by the tenderness shown to her, particularly when they came to say their goodbyes when her passing was imminent. From start to finish, Interim was a tremendous help and encouragement to me as a family caregiver. With Interim's help and support, I was able to enjoy some precious times with my mom before her passing.

What an amazing experience it has been to work for Interim. They demand the highest standard of care to ensure their patients have the best possible experience. They put their patients first, and will always advocate for anything that they may need. I have never met a group of staff that cares as much as they do.

When working alongside the Interim staff, I can see they have a genuine heart for what they do and who they serve. They treat the families and patients they serve with compassion, respect, and a mission to provide the best care possible and offer unique service options. Their attentiveness has created a safe space for families and a dignified transition for their loved ones. As families and patient's face a difficult and pivotal time in their life when put on hospice care, I have witnessed the staff be there with care, empathy, sincerity, professionalism, a listening ear, and genuine support.
