My family entrusted Ignite Medical Resort with my mother’s care, and we deeply regret that decision.

Throughout her stay, communication was extremely poor. We repeatedly asked for updates about her condition and often received little or no meaningful information.

During one visit, we discovered that another one of her toes had turned black and there was bleeding from her foot. No one had notified our family of this change, despite our regular involvement in her care. We also observed dried blood in her room, which was extremely concerning.

We repeatedly had to advocate for her wound care, including asking for dressings to be changed. Ultimately, we insisted that she be transported to the emergency room because we no longer felt she was receiving appropriate care.

Family should never have to discover serious changes in a loved one’s condition on their own. They deserve timely communication, proper wound care, and prompt medical attention when a patient’s condition worsens . We are actively trying to remove my mother from the facility but of course we can’t get thru to anyone to do that . I encourage anyone considering this facility to stay actively involved, ask questions, document everything, and advocate for their loved one.
