DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE . My father was thrown out of his wheelchair. While being transported from his appointment by one of UHS employees, that isn't qualified to drive that vehicle. The ADON Tammy Patton falsified documents to hide the incident. They are always low staffed, the CNAS break there back everyday and don't get appreciated . Meanwhile administration sit on their butts all day complaining about the not important things.

I cannot verify others poor experiences, but our family's recent tour and admission of our Loved One could not have been better! Megan in Admissions and Barb in Finance provided a comprehensive tour of the facility and overview all financial concerns. Dodge in Maintenance provided assistance and expertise during the relocation procedure. Nancy in Food Services and Nicole in Residential Administration were both gracious and welcoming during our admission processing. Our aunt has been kindly and gently integrated into the senior residential community at Ideal. My family extends our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to these individuals, and to all the others whose kind words and assistance, reinforced that our choice was correct.

Wonderful nursing home and staff. Not one complaint, also one of the cleanest nursing home I have seen.

My mother resides here in independent living. She is in her 90's. The staff is great, it's kept very clean and maintenance is quick to handle requests for fixes. Residents are respected and feel safe. Communication with staff is welcoming. A schedule is followed for meals. If my Mom wished for any changes at all it would be from the kitchen to cook some healthier plant based options and offer non-dairy products. With the Covid-19 invasion all year, they have followed protocol to the letter to keep our loved ones safe as possible. I look forward to the freedom of coming & going to visit my Mother without worry, wearing masks and hugging! 💗 It’s now 2023 & I’m here to give an update. My mother is 99yrs. old & has been in Ideals Long Term Care unit now for a year. The care here between the doctor on staff & the nurses, etc., have all treated her with respect & dignity. Her demands aren’t always met with the quickness she would like and it’s definitely understaffed at times but any concerns we have are addressed asap. She has had a few clothing items randomly disappear even though they are labeled, which is upsetting, but again we make do. Sharing a room has its pluses & minuses. Too hot. Too cold. TV too loud. Too many visitors, but manageable. I’m very glad she’s safe & cared for. 💛 Well, Mom made it to her 100th birthday on April 20. The staff threw her a party including the residents, with live music, a personal cake, a crown & sash, gifts from the staff, plus the local news came to interview her. Fox 40 did a great job, airing it several times over the weekend. She was honored with a plaque and all over UHS it was called Hazel Dentico Day! We also had a family party for Mom in their community room that they reserved just for us. It's been a pleasure dealing with everyone here. Mom has her favorite care takers but she has adjusted to how things work & calls Ideal her home. We are very thankful.

I had a recent stay at Ideal in their rehabilitation area. The experience was great and the care I received was outstanding in every way. I was treated with respect and the staff were always supportive during my rehap following surgery at UHS Wilson. The physical and occupational therapy was exactly what I needed. They helped me gain the strength and stability I needed to return home to continue my recovery journey. I can attest personally as to why UHS Senior Living at Ideal has a Five Star Rating.
