They took very good care of my brother after he had two strokes, leaving him paralyzed on his left side. But while he was there, he got better, able to walk again, and use his left hand/arm. The place is clean and quiet, and the staff do a good job. No place is perfect, but they took very good care of my brother.

Terrible place. My friend is a resident there and while talking to her on the phone I could hear an employee screaming at her saying you can’t get up your bedridden. Which less than a hour before that when I was there they told her they would get her up and take her outside. She has been in bed there the last couple months without getting up, now she gets lightheaded whenever she sits up. They don’t get her up up for meals, they do nothing with her. She’s just been laying there crying and getting weaker. Last Wednesday I took her a cell phone, when I heard them screaming at her I called and complained. By Friday just two days later the phone came up missing, making sure I wouldn’t be able to hear thru the phone. Where did it go? She hasn’t been out of that bed. They don’t even put clean clothes on her. It’s horrible.

I just wanted to put a review about The Hospitality House. We needed a place were hospice could work with my mom. My mom passed on Christmas day. I thank God she is now with our heavenly father. She also turned 91 on the 20th of December. The staff here was so kind to our family and treated my mom with respect. I can't thank them enough, these are hard times for everyone. But I wanted to say THANK YOU. They were affordable, clean, polite and very quite.

I brought my Mom to tour here and it was very nice. Unfortunately she was not able to reside there as she was diabetic and they do not take people that need to have staff assist with injections. I was so impressed with everyone there, I then recommended it to my neighbor and her Dad is now residing there. My neighbor has never complained about the care there and actually is very happy her Dad lives there. Lisa Sanchez, Manteca

What a horrible place to have to put your loved one. The owners (Marlene B and David M) have no idea what to do with an assisted living, so they hired a "manager" named Karen. They do not follow state regulations, pour meds way ahead of time, keep meds they should not have, administer shots of insulin and other medications, do not background check all of their employees, pay employees under the table and do not adhere to half of the regulations listed in Title 22. They have staff that sleeps on their shifts, have had numerous people escape from their "memory care" and Karen is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life. They need to sell the business before those poor people die from neglect.
