Hospice of North Central Oklahoma is literally the most compassionate and caring hospice available to the people of Ponca city and the surrounding areas. The staff take pride in the care they provide. It’s not a job for them, it’s a calling. As a nurse who has worked in hospice, there is something special about this hospice!

Hospice of North Central Oklahoma provides a doctor, RN, CNA, pastor, and social worker for my mother’s care. Like most medical facilities, hers has a great deal of staff turnover, and the consistent attention and dialogue with Hospice has given us confidence that she is in the best hands. We have nothing but praise for their dedication to her well being in this stage of her precious life.

My mom was denied hospice 2 times. Blood pressure 65/47 and she was dying and told drink fluids. Horrible to deny people the right to have hospice when they are clearly dying. The picture is the same day she was denied 11/28/21 and the pic with her face on the bench where our behind sits, she was begging for hospice and too weak to be on table. Horrible to deny this woman the rights protected by 10th and 14th amendments. She died suffering DECEMBER 28th. We have not forgotten. We will make hospice what it once was.
