Horizon House

Horizon House is an independent living community in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood, established in 1961. On-campus assisted living and memory support services allow residents to age in place while maintaining connections to the community and its programs.

The community is defined by a resident-led culture of intellectual curiosity and self-expression. Over 70 resident-led programs span topics including environmental policy, secular philosophy, woodworking, the arts, and social justice. Residents shape daily life through their individual interests and passions.

Independent living residences include home maintenance and offer immediate access to Seattle's arts, culture, and healthcare institutions. A 33-story expansion is under construction and will add 198 modern residences with refined amenities when it opens in 2029.
