This is me in a very small apartment. My children are far away many states away in so so busy as our many families these days. Arthritis rules my life, and controls my decisions as well as my daily activities. I see myself as living to live alone. Look at the word and taste it/alone a cone of a person I tell you this not to complain out To explain. Then here comes Whitney Huffine my friend my caregiver. I can't see it any better than a great philosopher once said Leo to understand, we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, listening, ear, and honest, complement, or the smallest act of caring, all this was the potential to turn a life around. Whitney Huffine is all of this and more do you know I said something just once about my dish sponge smelling funky, and without saying a word every time since then my sponges are clean and sweet life is hard and it's hard a little bit she does daily to help me with my every day task, which helps very much. She folds my clothes the way I like she always makes time for me and sure that I eat take my pills that's a given, but she knows how my eggs are made. She makes friends with my cat which is not easy and she is cheerful and happy daily. I had her reaction to a new medicine and was so sick on a holiday Labor Day she came in could have just done her daily task, but she didn't. She came in and took charge and help me. I slept and overslept and she made sure I was awake to take my medicine to make me something good to eat and it's sad cause I woke up scared, but she was there. She leaves her family to come and take care of me even after her shift was over. She continued to contact me to make sure I was feeling well and that I was not alone. She always make sure my needs are met and then on top of that she made sure my house is spotless a caregiver yes but she's not just that she's professional personal. She takes pride and everything she does and that's my whitney! My name is Alice Anne Campbell and i live in the connellsville apartments on peach street!
