While looking for in-home respite care services for my mom “A Place for Mom” referred my name to “Home Instead” & another caregiving provider. Taylor from Home Instead replied almost immediately & was SO helpful & friendly, even suggesting some helpful questions I may want to ask from other caregiving providers. We ended up using Home Instead & I’m so happy that we did! The caregivers took my mom on errands to the grocery store, helped her with household chores, kept her company, & even watered our plants outside. Patty even brought some homemade meals to share with my mom, which she totally loved! Communication with Taylor throughout the whole time was very prompt; she & all the care professionals who helped my mom were wonderful! I can’t thank Taylor & all the caregivers enough; thank you for putting my mind at ease so I didn’t have to worry about her while I was away & thank you for caring for my mom so well!

Our family could not have managed the holidays without the loving support of the caregivers at Home Instead. From the very beginning, Nizza and Jennifer scheduled providers to come in and help with companion care and transportation. We appreciated the assistance of Martina S., Alia, Ping, Jacqueline B, Kelsey Ann, Destinee J, and Teresa. The overall experience of this Home Instead, Windward Oahu was exceptional! Thank you for your love and support during our time of need. We will miss you all.

Home Instead Kailua is the BEST home care company in Hawaii! They actually care about their clients and provide specialized and professional care. They are trustworthy, kind, responsible, and reliable. Butch, the owner, is involved and caring. Nancy, Kanani, and Nizza, who make up part of their management team are phenomenal…they are all knowledgeable, patient, caring, and responsive. My father is fortunate to have the most outstanding caregivers in Cassie, Rodney, and Aurea! Not only are they extremely kind, but they are so skilled, gentle, protective, fun, and caring. When they are with my dad, I don’t have to worry, because they treat him like family. I am so blessed to have found such an amazing company. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for a team of top-notch, honest, reliable, caring, and professional individuals! George Hewitt<br>Home Instead Care Provider<br><br>We have been fortunate to have George Hewitt with Home Instead care for our loved one several times a week this past year. He is a gentleman who consistently brings good cheer. He enjoys cooking and has made many excellent meals for her.<br><br>We are also very comfortable having him drive Myrna to go shopping and other interesting, scenic, and enjoyable outings. When I came across an announcement for the Orchid Society Show at King Intermediate, he took her, and they had a fabulous time. Myrna loves flowers and is growing roses, orchids, hibiscus, herbs, and many other plants. George helps her to manage them nicely in addition to his regular duties. My family researched 18 different home care options before we selected Home Instead. It was clear that the company was well run and the services offered were very much personalized. They sent me Maria Younger and she has truly been a Godsend. She is so compassionate, fun and proactive. I feel very safe with her and I really look forward to her coming over. I could not ask for anything better. (Shoutout to Taua as well!)
