Unfortunately Jennifer wasted my time and never even attempted to call my references. I have experiences and good references. As a person of color I feel discriminated and wouldn’t recommend. Edit: Please note she didn’t even attempt to check my references and my availability was very open. She told me she was going to call and didn’t.

It was a wonderful blessing to deal with the owner, Andrew, at Home Instead, along with the three aids, Debbie, Joyce and Deborah who cared for our dad. Andrew was personally involved on my initial and follow up calls when inquiring of what services and care that his company could provide, along with the selection of such kind, considerate and professional aids. All aspects of my dealings with Andrew and his staff exceeded my hopes and expectations, and would highly recommend Home Instead of Hamden.

I would recommend the caretakers from Hamden's Home Instead in an instant! They have been so kind to our family and the care that they provide our mother is top notch. The folks in the office are responsive, sensitive to our needs, and work with kindness and empathy.

Home Instead has been quite the support that I had hoped it would be. The office staff is very responsive to our requests and the staff who comes and cares for my mother have been terrific. My mother looks forward to seeing the aids and they've been instrumental in helping her to maintain her strength and independence.

You will not find a better agency to take care of your loved one. Home Instead staff members are truly exceptional - compassionate, kind, and dedicated. They can provide as much or as little support as needed, and will gladly change services as the needs of the client change. Their caregivers have become an extension of our family.
