Mr. Hawkins took excellent care of me and went above and beyond his mandate as my caregiver. He arrived early, helped put groceries away for me so that I could continue getting ready for my appointment and then drove me to my dental appointment, waited with me there while I talked to my dental office about costs, post-op care instructions, etc., and waited in the lobby while my operation took place. Mr. Hawkins then helped me into my vehicle and drove me to Walgreens to pick up the prescription my dentist ordered for me. Upon arriving, we became aware that the medications were not yet ready so he took me home and helped me upstairs to my bed so that I could get some much needed rest. Before I closed my eyes to take a nap, he made sure to ask me if there was anything that I needed and explained to me very clearly that he would go back to the Walgreens to get my medications once they were available. They kept delaying the prescription for one reason or another but he did not give up and kept pushing them until they gave him the medications I needed at which point he brought them directly to me so I could get some additional relief. Mr. Hawkins was exceptionally professional, very kind and sweet, and felt almost like a father figure to me in a moment where I was very vulnerable, in a lot of pain, and needed someone to care for me while taking care of me. He hit every single mark. If I ever need any level of home assistance again, I would not consider going to anyone other than Home Helpers. Thank you again Mr. Hawkins for the care you showed and the professionalism you demonstrated and thank you also for being in this business because you truly love helping people. Continue to be blessed in the many ways you bless others. Take care!
