My 89-year-old mother has been here for almost 2 years. This place has been an absolute blessing and my mother tells me constantly how happy she is to be there. I visit her on a daily basis and see the hard work that goes on. What prompted me to write this review was seeing a complaint about Abu. That man is a treasure. He is probably the most technically proficient CNA in the place, and a mentor to the younger CNAs. He has never been the least bit abusive in any way to any of the patients. I suspect the blind profile that came on here to leave a bad review about him was a CNA who’s been on the receiving end of a scolding from him.

Our family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care The Holiday Retirement Residence provided to my 96-year-old mother in her final days. From the moment she arrived, the staff and the incredible team from Hope Hospice—Jou Jou, Olivia, Monica, Merry, Kathy, Stephanie, Uja, Marnie, Lori, Christina, and others whose names I may have forgotten—showed genuine kindness, compassion, and professionalism.

The facility itself is warm, clean, and cozy—exactly the kind of place my mother wanted. She didn’t want a sterile, resort-like setting; she wanted a true home where she felt comfortable, and The Holiday Retirement Residence was just that. The staff here are living angels, ensuring that every resident receives the dignity, care, and attention they deserve.

Thank you all for making my mother’s final days as peaceful and comfortable as possible. Your dedication and heartfelt care will never be forgotten.

Zero stars. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. The nurse staff does NOT know what they are doing. They double overdose prescriptions, they misdiagnose serious diseases as "strokes" and they will let your loved ones pass away and leave their body for DAYS before calling a rescue for chest pain. There are COUNTLESS records from the local rescue on file detailing the malpractice that takes place. The Holiday should have been shut down years ago.
