I would strongly advise families to think twice before placing a loved one in this senior living facility. My mother has been living here, and we recently discovered a roach infestation. This is completely unacceptable in a facility responsible for caring for elderly residents.<br><br>What makes this even more infuriating is how much money residents and their families are paying for this level of care. When you are paying thousands of dollars for a senior living facility, you expect a clean, safe, sanitary environment—not to discover roaches where your loved one lives.<br><br>Families should not have to pay this kind of money and then worry about whether their loved one is living in an environment with a pest infestation. The amount being charged makes the situation even more unacceptable. You are paying for care, cleanliness, safety, and dignity—not excuses.<br><br>Because of this situation, I have made the decision to move my mother out of the facility. I refuse to continue paying a significant amount of money every month to keep her somewhere that does not meet the basic standards of cleanliness and safety she deserves.<br><br>Senior citizens deserve better. Families deserve better. And if a facility is going to charge families this much money, the absolute minimum expectation should be a clean and pest-free living environment.<br><br>I strongly recommend that anyone considering this facility for their loved one ask very serious questions about sanitation, pest control, inspections, and how complaints are handled. Do not assume that paying more means your loved one is receiving better care.<br><br>My mother deserves better, and I will not compromise when it comes to her health, safety, or dignity.

Working with Lisa and her team has been an absolute pleasure. Not only is the community stunning but the staff is par none. The community is clean, it has incredible amenities, and everyone I met from the concierge, to Omar at valet service, to the dining room crew all knew mine and my father in laws names after just a day or two of us getting him settled in. They welcomed him in with open arms and I am without a doubt certain he is in such good hands. I feel very blessed to have him there.

You have an excellent senior center. Even better, your sales representative, Elana Trencher, was superb. Unfortunately the size of the apartments are too small for our needs. But again, Elana was wonderful to work with.

My sister has just moved into the assisted living section of Holbrook Decatur and could not be happier! All the staff have been so friendly and welcoming and responsive to every need. The food is outstanding and the resources there are amazing. I'm ecstatic that her move and settling in there has gone so well. Holbrook Decatur is a delightful place! A big thank you to everyone there who has made her transition into her new home a really good one.
