Across the board, from my father-in-law's entry to his exit, the staff, nurses, and doctors were super helpful in ensuring that we were kept aware of his progress and their concerns. He was lucky to get a private room, and that made it much more comfortable than he would have expected. He was there for about 7 weeks in recovery, and had additional cancer drugs that had to be given at certain times, and all of that was not easy to coordinate with outside suppliers. However, it all worked out and he has now been home for 3 weeks and is doing well. Especially would like to thank the Occupational Therapists on her her work with both her patient and the family to ensure that all bases were covered and how to prepare for leaving the facility. From the front desk to the people who drove him to doctor's appointments, all went so smoothly. Thank you so much. And while we hope we don't have to revisit, we certainly know where we would go to for great service and attention - Hillcrest Convalescent Center in Durham!

We have been so impressed with every aspect of Hillcrest, from the facility to, especially, the nursing/caregiving staff. They have been so supportive and caring for my mother and for the whole family. The first night there when Mom was confused and anxious, the nurse’s assistant (CNA) sat with her and helped calm her until she went to sleep 💖

This is the first time that I have been in a convalescent center. As long as I am away from home, this is the BEST place for me. Thank you to all of the following for not only providing me with competence, but for answering my innumerable questions with patience and humor. Therapists--Jeremy, Anne-Marie, and Heather CNAs--All of you but I must mention Lolita, Emily, Colleen and Destiny. Nurses- Jaime Mayfield, Rhonda, and Abby, and Nina. Ken Middleton who fixed my bed. Custodial staff who keep my room clean and smelling good. Deja, Ms. Pam Hart, and Mr. Williams. Nutrition-You are feeding me so well, I must now limit my caloric intake. (lol) Activities--Miranda thank you for delivering my Amazon packages as well as allowing me to probe your lovelife and laugh at my corny 😃. Dr. Prasad--You enhance the reputation of Geriatric Medicine. All of you help to contribute to the stellar reputation of Hillcrest. THANK YOU ALL!
