A heartfelt thank you to everyone at High Pointe House.<br><br>After caring for my dad at home on hospice for nine days, we made the difficult decision to transfer him to High Pointe House for respite care. It gave me the opportunity to simply be his son again, and it allowed my mother to focus on being his wife instead of his caregiver.<br><br>The facility was not at all what I had imagined. It is beautiful, clean, and exceptionally well maintained, both inside and out. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it comfortable for families to spend meaningful time with their loved ones.<br><br>From the moment my dad was admitted through our daily visits, every member of the staff was compassionate, professional, and kind. They treated our family with dignity and respect, and they cared for my father with genuine compassion while providing excellent medical care tailored to his needs.<br><br>It is, of course, a somber place, but there was also a sense of peace knowing my father was receiving outstanding care. We will always be grateful to everyone at High Pointe House for the comfort, kindness, and support they gave our family during such a difficult time.
