I can’t say enough wonderful things about Heritage Oaks Senior Living! The facility is always clean, well-kept, and has a fantastic range of activities for the residents. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. I especially want to highlight the director, Valerie Watson, who personally went the extra mile to clean my mother’s apartment when they were short-staffed. It’s this level of care and dedication that makes Heritage Oaks truly special. Highly recommend!

We are moving my mom to Heritage Oaks at the end of this month, and Christina and Valerie have been so helpful! They have been kind and understanding while navigating some renovations being made to the apartment to accommodate my mom's mobility needs.<br><br>When I accompanied my mom to a Thursday "Lunch and Learn," the food was fantastic, and dining room team members came over to make sure everything was good. Some of the residents even introduced themselves to us and welcomed her to Heritage Oaks!<br><br>The apartment my mom is renting has a view overlooking some accessible raised flower garden boxes and nearby trees. We even saw some Canada Geese parents ambling about the grounds with their goslings!<br><br>I feel this will be a good fit for my mom, and that she will be able to live her life the way SHE wants with safety measures in place and friendly support.

What a beautiful place with beautiful people! After touring and visiting Heritage Oaks my mother-in-law is beyond excited to move in. We’re so happy that she has found a place where she can not only live but she can thrive!

We are just preparing to move into this facility. We could not be happier with the facility, staff, administration and the food (the most amazing hot dog I have had in Richmond)!! The administrators (especially Christina who we hope will relocate to Richmond) have bent over backwards to help my family transition to a Senior Living facility. So many amenities in the area and almost walking distance to a major hospital. We are looking forward to a long residency!!!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care and support we received from Heritage Oaks Senior Living in Richmond, VA. From the very beginning, Candra and Christina went above and beyond to make the entire process of moving my father in as smooth and stress-free as possible. Their warm smiles, genuine personalities, and empathetic nature truly helped to alleviate the anxieties that both my father and I had during this journey.<br><br>I am so confident that my father will be comfortable, and happy in this beautiful facility. The staff's attention to detail, the inviting atmosphere, and the wonderful sense of community among the residents gives me peace of mind. The facility itself is stunning, both inside and out, and the residents are kind, helpful, and welcoming.<br><br>In my father's words, “I feel like I could live another 10 years because of the atmosphere of this place!” That really says it all. I am so grateful for the care and respect Heritage Oaks has shown us, and I couldn’t be more pleased with our decision. Thank you, Candra, Christina, and everyone at Heritage Oaks, for making this experience so positive. This place is truly a gem!
