Staff is great, my mother is there and if she has a problem we call them and it’s taken of promptly! I guess some of the reviews below mine are people that think a staff member is supposed to baby sit their family member 24/7, yeah they can’t do that you bad level rater’s! If you don’t like the care they are giving than move your relative to a different place or take them home and take care of them yourself, or are you to good for that, or do you just not like baby sitting you’re them 24/7?

Would give ZERO STARS if possible. Friend of the family is currently there. They left a fall risk unattended in the bathroom for 20 minutes, refused to answer call lights, used recliner as a medical restraint bc person cannot stand and left call light and oxygen across the room. Then they flat out lied and said if they left against medical advice medicare would not pay for stay. I work for medicare! This is absolutely false! Update: mother called owner guy, knapp i believe is name. He hung up on them twice. No state record available. Red flag and illegal. No ombudsman or resident rights info in public view either. "Nurse" i say bc no uniform or name tag walked right into friends room without knocking or anouncing self. To ask who she was and why she was there? Like really?!

My brother has been here for a few years now, and he's currently on hospice. He's getting terrible care. They don't take care of him at all. His health is getting worse. The staff is terrible and they are also understaffed. The administration is terrible and does nothing about complaints. I would advise no one to take a family member here.

Under staff, and while my mother inlaw was in there she was not taken care of,my wife was there every nite, up until she died, and she went 6 hours with out being checked on. There was one nurse that did her job and found my mother in law laying in a wet bed wet cloth. She was mad and upset. She got her changed. I was in there and they put her food in the window seal. She can't walk or get out of bed. Really. And that coast over 300 a day. We will never forget. But to the one girl who cared we will never forget you...

My mother has been cared for at Heritage Health Care in Chanute for almost 7 months now. The staff has been very kind and personable. Life is challenging sometimes for my mother and she has had many ups and downs but I've felt that the staff has genuinely cared for my mother and kept trying different things to try and meet her needs. My brother made a good choice when he chose Heritage for her care.
