This is the worst place imaginable for your family members. DO NOT LET THEM GO HERE! They are neglectful when someone's help button is pushed they ignore it. They treat the patients like crap. My uncle had to wait months waiting to get his teeth pulled out because they wouldn't let him go and wouldn't keep up communicating with the doctors. My uncle was in pain for several months. My uncle and his roommate are not the only ones of this neglect. My uncles roommate is in the hospital for untreated diabetes and untreated pneumonia. He got to the hospital with his blood sugar over 500. These people have no business in this workplace. They are rude and I have so many other experiences that could get someone in real trouble. These people should sue for being treated so badly!

I have had nothing but great things to say about the staff but I don't think the residents are changed like they should be the smells are horrible walking down the hall

My mom Patsy was initially at Heritage Hall for PT to assist her in gaining strength to handle cancer treatment. She was terminal, so she ended up becoming a resident for a few weeks until she passed. I’m horrible with names, but the social worker, the manager Twana, the RNs, CNAs, physical therapists, aides, housekeeping, food service folks, & laundry staff were all great. They keep in constant contact with us for every medication change, any stress related issues mom had, etc. Mom was always dressed, clean, her hair combed, etc. Her room was also cleaned on a regular. There isn’t one thing that we were not pleased with. I know these folks have a thankless job a lot of the time, and they deal with patients that have Alzheimer’s, dementia, and serious physical limitations. I saw them treat all of the residents and patients with dignity and respect. What else could you want for your loved one?

This is a well ran facility with kind staff and very clean for a nursing facility. My father has been to many facilities including northern VA and I am very grateful for the care and compassion he gets here. The other facilities he has been at were not as nicely run as this one. No facility is going to be perfect, unfortunately, but this facility is as close to that as it gets, in MY opinion. They are also great at handling situations independently with thought and care and they don't contact me unnecessarily for every small minut detail, BUT, they would if I asked them too!! That's another reason why I genuinely like this facility. I also think that the majority of employees, genuinely care about the individuals they are serving, which makes all the difference in the world of how the individuals are taking care of here.
