Recently, I have reaped the benefits of Henry Ford’s In-Home Health Care Dream Team. They are: Nurse Sue, Occupational Therapist, Amanda, and Physical Therapist, Ani Balalau. After my hip replacement surgery these wonderful people came to our home and provided me with excellent care. My husband and I were very impressed with their professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the recovery process. Nurse Sue’s positive attitude and encouragement were very much appreciated. Amanda, my occupational therapist showed me how to get in and out of the shower safely. She also demonstrated how to get in and out of bed, and for the first time in two years I was able to do this. Ani Balalau, my physical therapist, has helped improve my range of motion to a great extent. Because of her caring and kindness, she also gave us emotional support and confidence in a future recovery. They have helped improve the quality of my life, and I highly recommend this team.
