As an estate planning and elder law attorney, I regularly meet families who are navigating difficult transitions involving aging parents, incapacity, and long-term care decisions. Because of that, I’m very careful about who I recommend to clients. Tanya and Helping You Home Health Care have been wonderful to work with. Tanya genuinely cares about the families she serves, and it shows in the way she communicates, follows through, and advocates for her clients. Her team approaches people with compassion, professionalism, and dignity during what is often a stressful and emotional time for families. Reliable and trustworthy home care providers are hard to find, and I would not hesitate to recommend Helping You Home Health Care to my own clients, friends, or family members.

I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my 94-year-old father received from the team at Helping You. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that Barb (Nurse), Nancy (Physical Therapist), and Derrick (Home Health Aide) were not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate and attentive. Barb was thorough and professional in all aspects of his care, ensuring his medications were properly managed and addressing any concerns with patience and clarity. Nancy worked diligently to improve his mobility and strength, always tailoring her approach to his needs. Derrick provided compassionate assistance with daily activities, offering a level of care that truly made a difference in my father’s comfort and well-being. They were all prompt, and maintained a level of professionalism that made a challenging situation much easier to navigate. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to care for my father—thank you to Barb, Nancy, and Derrick for your outstanding work. You gave us peace of mind during a difficult time, and we will always be grateful for your dedication and kindness.

My experience with them was very horrible. They didn't have any communication skills with me and or my family for my moms care. Therapy did the bare minimum, was always late or would not show up and then call weeks later about a reevaluation but wasn't consistent. The nursing team was coming out twice a week, then once, that was fine but once again this was not communicated. We were waiting for a call then I had to call them mid week to figure out her schedule changed. Tanya was very rude when me and my sister tried to explain our concerns and issues about effective communication. We eventually asked my mom to be discharged. But of course that was not discussed among them, therapy called 3 weeks after discharge to set up a reveal and start therapy back up. Even though she was not seen in 3 week and they only came out once for the initial eval and one session and tried to reveal again. What a joke.

I am so happy that the hospital recommended this agency, when my mom got discharged from the hospital. I was so skeptical at first and worried how am I going to take care of my bedbound mom? The most compassionate people I could of ever ask for. I don't know how I would of made it this far without Lysa RN or Oleg the therapist? They are truly the best there is. Absolutely wonderful care and I would recommend them to anyone needing Home Care.
