The parking situation and valet at this senior facility needs some serious work. In the middle of the afternoon on several days, there is no one to be found to valet your car. If you’re lucky enough to get valid, then it’s difficult to get them to bring your car back. As a busy healthcare professional getting in and out of these senior facilities in a timely manner is critical for the price tag people pay to live at these places. They should at least have two valet employees helping to get folks in and out of their cars.

My mother is a resident of Heartis Independent Living. As adult children, we were bracing for the transition of my mom's move out of her own home to be very difficult. We cannot thank the Heartis staff enough for making this time in her life full of ease and community. Our mom is really happy there. The building is beautiful, the food is delicious, but most of all the staff really care. I have to shout out Sales Manager Anjelle Westley, Hospitality Manager Charles Randolph, Building Services Manager Qua Solomon, Shay, India and Jennifer in Celebrations/Activities, De Dee, Nicole, Leon and Leonard our concierges, the dining room staff and the transportation staff. For all those above and those whose names I do not know, thank you for making my mom feel at home and cared for from the very first day. She is engaged in her life and her environment in such a beautiful way at Heartis. It definitely feels like an exciting, new chapter to her life. Our family had an emergency need to place a senior member in assisted living quickly. The hospital was ready to discharge earlier than anticipated and we weren’t sure how to proceed. Because I have another family member in Independent Living at Heartis, I called to see if Heartis could help or offer any guidance. Anjelle Westley, sales director at Heartis, went above and beyond to take care of us. She set us at ease and went into overdrive to fast-track our loved one’s move, even working during her planned vacation to make sure we were taken care of. She coordinated across multiple family members and back with her team at Heartis to iron out all of the details quickly and with an upbeat attitude that helped us feel confident we and our loved one were in good hands. Big thank you to Anjelle and all the team at Heartis, I literally don’t know what we would have done without y’all!

My wife and I recently stayed at one of the Heartis guest apartments while visiting my mother who is a resident. The stay was arranged by the wonderful Heartis hospitality manager. Charles Randolph. Our one bedroom accommodations were very comfortable and included a kitchen and all the Heartis amenities (e.g. two meals per day, pool, gym, free garage parking, etc.). All of the Heartis staff were outstanding and addressed our every need Compared to hotel prices for similar accommodations near by, the Heartis apartment was very reasonable. If you are visiting from out of town and would like to stay close to a loved one residing at Heartis, I highly recommend staying at one of their guest apartments.

After visiting 8 memory care facilities I knew Heartis was the right place for my husband. The staff was very friendly and helped with all the paperwork and insurance issues. They made the hard transition as comfortable and easy as possible. I cannot say enough about the director of Memory Care and the Med Techs and CNAs, always available and willing to help at any given moment.
