I am extremely disappointed with the level of care provided at Buckhead Nursing and Healing. My experience with this facility was deeply concerning and unacceptable. My mother was left without oxygen and repeatedly rang for assistance, but no one responded for approximately an hour and a half. This kind of delay is not only neglectful but could have resulted in a very serious outcome. Timely response to patients—especially those with critical needs—is essential, and this standard was clearly not met. In addition, many of the CNAs and nurses we encountered were disrespectful and appeared indifferent to patient care. It often felt as though the focus was more on collecting a paycheck than providing compassionate, attentive service. While there were a few CNAs who showed kindness and professionalism, and one nurse on the fourth floor who treated my mother well, these positive experiences were unfortunately the exception rather than the rule. It is also very concerning that the facility continues to accept new patients despite what appears to be a clear shortage of staff. Proper staffing is critical to ensuring patient safety and quality care, and this facility does not seem adequately equipped to meet those responsibilities. Overall, I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking safe and compassionate care for their loved ones. Significant improvements are needed in staffing, responsiveness, and overall patient treatment.
