We have been very pleased with the care our father receives at Havenwood Homes. It is a smaller, clean, modern facility that feels much more like a comfortable home than an institution. The staff does a great job keeping residents engaged and involved. Naomi, the owner, is very involved and genuinely cares about the residents and their families.

My uncle is 91 years old and has memory issues. We were searching frantically for a memory care facility when the manager at his retirement home remembered seeing Havenwood Homes on Kresson. We contacted Naomi Goldman to inquire about room. Naomi came within an hour of the initial call to meet with my uncle, who immediately felt comfortable with her.<br>We were concerned/nervous on move-in day as he was somewhat hesitant to go. However, Naomi and her staff welcomed him as part of their family, introducing him to the other residents, and including him in the day’s activities.<br>He has been there just over 3 weeks and there has been a significant change in his personality. He is more engaged with the staff & residents than in his previous residence. He enjoys the daily activities and is more animated when we visit.<br>All of my fears/concerns have faded. Naomi and her staff are addressing his needs, as well as the rest of the residents. 24-hour qualified staffing is very reassuring to our family. Bottom line, this was the BEST decision for our uncle’s continued care.

I am writing to share my family's wonderful experience with Havenwood Homes, where my mother has been a resident since June.<br><br>After an exhaustive search for the best place to care for my mother, who has Alzheimer's/dementia, we were incredibly fortunate to find Havenwood. The proprietor, Naomi, was welcoming and instrumental in helping my mother settle into her new environment. Naomi's sweet, loving, energetic, and positive nature sets a wonderful tone for the entire residence, ensuring everyone feels safe, happy, and truly at home.<br><br>Havenwood Homes is not just a facility; it is a true home where the staff genuinely cares for the residents and their well-being. I can honestly say that I do not worry about my mother's care, knowing she is exactly where she belongs.

Havenwood Homes is the very best alternative I found when my mom was no longer able to continue to live in her own home. I can say this on a concrete level as my mom was previously in a different facility that came with high credentials but, in my opinion, fell rather quickly in the quality of care they provided.<br><br>While it was absolutely heartbreaking to have to accept and act on the reality that we were no longer able to care for Mom in the place she called home for over 35 years, the staff at Havenwood understand this.<br>This was and continues to be a very hard journey to walk but the director and caregivers walk this journey with us. We are a team.<br><br>The aspect I am most impressed with, which means the most to me, is the individuality of care that my mom receives. They have really gotten to know her, her strengths, her weaknesses, her quirks, and tailor their care to her specific needs with patience, compassion, and respect.<br><br>Of course I wish all of this wasn't necessary but since it is, I can rest at ease, being100% confident that at this stage in her life Mom is getting the best care possible.
