As a resident there for a week. No where did I sign, and I was not made aware that there was a curfew. If your not back before midnight, they pack your things and delete you from the computer. I went back and collected my things from the front office. People yell and scream all night long like a mental asylum. Oh and my chamber pot (bedside cammode) went days without being cleaned or emptied. With only a handful of great workers, who get forced to pick up the slack everyone else drops! I am grateful for the few amazing workers and for being able to have visitors. I am better off at home.

I can’t say enough positive things about Haven of Lakeside and their incredible nursing staff. From the moment we walked through the doors, I felt a sense of relief knowing my dad was going to receive the help he needed that I could not provide. During my father’s stay, we encountered an issue that initially had us worried — he began experiencing increased confusion and agitation, something we hadn’t seen before. Instead of brushing it off as “normal,” the nursing staff immediately took it seriously. They closely monitored him, assessed his environment, and discovered the problem in no time. They noticed the changes before we even did, immediately contacted the provider, adjusted his treatment plan, and kept us updated every step of the way. The level of communication and calmness turned what could have been a crisis into a carefully managed situation. What impressed me most was how they treated him with such dignity and warmth throughout the entire process. They weren’t just focused on fixing the problem; they cared about his comfort, emotions, and our peace of mind. Beyond that incident, the everyday care has been exceptional. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to their residents’ well-being. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows in the little things: the patience they show during therapy, the smiles they bring into the room, and the way they listen when a resident needs a moment of reassurance. Haven of Lakeside is truly a blessing. If you’re looking for a skilled nursing facility where professionalism meets real compassion, I would recommend them without hesitation. They gave my family peace during a stressful time, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. This place does not get enough credit. I am truly grateful knowing my father is in good hands.

If you care about your love ones, this facility and Michelle King should be the only place and people you should work with. I've never had this much peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are truly cared for. After reading all reviews anyone that did not give a 5 Star review brought in their own personal issues to their experience. Truly a family there... Five stars all day
