No one ever answers the phone. How are we to check on our loved ones. Good god!! I don't want to hear we short staffed. Then hire some people would be common sense. I have contacted Montgomery.

Hatley Health Care is a senior living community in Clanton, Alabama offering Memory Care and Skilled Nursing / Long Term Care. Amenities include Gathering / Activity Spaces, Social Activities and Housekeeping. Families rate it 4.0 out of 5 across 87 reviews.
Hatley Health Care is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Clanton, Alabama, with a licensed capacity of 201 residents.
Families consistently praise the staff's compassion and care quality, particularly in the memory care unit. One family noted their loved one "wanted to see her friends, residents and staff" and chose to return there; another witnessed staff treating residents "with love and consideration, even when they think no one is watching." The facility maintains clean environments. Food offerings received mixed feedback, with one family noting meals are not always suited to their relative's preferences.
A persistent concern across several reviews centers on staffing levels and responsiveness. Families reported inconsistent CNA availability, gaps in night shift coverage, and difficulty reaching the facility by phone to check on loved ones, frustrations attributed to understaffing. These operational challenges stand in contrast to the positive care experiences reported by other families.
Hatley Health Care holds a 4.0 Google rating across 87 reviews, reflecting both strong appreciation for direct care and notable frustration with administrative accessibility and staffing consistency.

When we went in we was told that they were fully staff. Some days you don't get a cna all day long other times it is 30 minutes to hour before they get to the room. A lot of time they don't even have a cna for the night shift no one did not put one on to cover. We pay to much money for this kind of services. Someone needs to do something about this it is not me right are fair for the ones that stay there.

Harley Health Care has amazing staff, especially in the Alzheimer’s & Dementia wing. The building itself may need renovations but I don’t care about the building. I have personally witnessed how they treat my loved one, and the other residents, with love and consideration, even when they think no one is watching. I am grateful for their care.

My sister in law was a resident there for 3 years, before that her dad was a resident for 6 years. I could not recommend any higher. The staff was always pleasant and took excellent care of them both. Betty Faye Minor, my sister in law passed this morning. Her only wish was to go back to Hatley's. She loved it there and wanted to see her friends, residents and staff were included. I hope Hatley's recognizes their wonderful staff. I would love to call each and everyone of you by name. The list is long and I'm afraid I would leave someone out. They know who they are. Thanks so much for your devoted care and honest love shown. Much respect to everyone and please realize you have not gone unnoticed. With kindest respect, Thank You
