I had heard bad things about Harmony Hall, so I was worried when my uncle had to go there. However, we had the best experience! He was there for rehab, which was great. The administrative staff was so helpful and treated us like family. They’ve started renovations, and they look fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home. Trust me try it before you judge!

Receptionist should be reprimanded for her horrible disposition. She shouldn't be working there. She always has such a nasty attitude. If you need to have nursing care, I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I had to put my Dad here. I wasn’t for sure because the building is old and they are in the middle of renovation. But my Dad had the very best care from the Nurses ,Cna’s , Nutrition staff , to the front desk. Very friendly and they went out of way for my Dad . Please don’t judge a book by its cover. (Because I did) I couldn’t had better care for my Dad.

The memories of that place and the lack of care for my relative will always haunt me. Half the time we were there to visit there was no front desk security, when somebody was there, all you do is sign in and they don't check ID, that means anybody, and I mean anybody can walk in off the streets. I live out of state and went to go visit my family member in "hospice" care in the same room as someone who wasn't in hospice care. My relative was in pain and the staff really did nothing to help remediate his pain, or to help him feel more comfortable we had to prompt them to take his blood pressure and listen to his heart, when he complained of chest pain there were no doctors around to assist They let him lay there in wet sheets uncomfortable, again we had to prompt the nurses to change his sheets. They did not bathe him, brush his teeth, or assist with feeding him. The only time he ate was when we were present and brought him food. My biggest fear when I was on the plane leaving who is going to feed him and care for him? 11 days later, he passed. So essentially he likely died of loneliness, dehydration, starvation and lack of care, rather than what he was diagnosed for. If you have options do not send your loved one here. It's a humiliating and disgraceful way to die. To add insult to injury they then give POCs 4 hours to have the body removed.

My mother was sent to Harmony Hall for rehab after an unexpected health event. We were met with some of the finest health care professionals you could imagine. Ms. Tina answered any questions (and there were many) about the process and the "what comes next" questions. Ms. Betty is the very best nurse ever and goes above and beyond her job description. Mr. Macon the nurse aid made such an impact with my mother. He cared for her as if she was family. There are so many others that could be named that deserve a shout out from Ms. Crystal the physical therapist to Ms. Cookie in housekeeping. My mother made the choice to stay at Harmony Hall after her rehab time because important bonds were made and she felt comfortable there. This whole chapter has been very difficult; however, the staff at Harmony Hall have been a blessing and have become part of our family.
