Nicole was rude, unhelpful, and shockingly incompetent. As the first point of contact with this business, the experience could not have been worse. Instead of being informative or courteous, she was dismissive and made the interaction unnecessarily frustrating. This level of unprofessionalism reflects badly on the company as a whole.

Chapters Living is unethical and does not care for your residents. Unfortunately, this memory care has gone downhill since the previous director left. I moved my family member out of this community due to lack of care, a worn-down building that doesn't have safety issues at top of mind. The food has gone downhill. The new director has cut out therapy and support care for residents. Not sure why on earth they would allow that in a memory care. The building has rodents and cockroaches in the kitchen that I have seen personally. I moved my family member out immediately after seeing the care decrease and broken promises after broken promises. Our family members deserve better and anywhere is better than Chapters Living of Wheeling.

My mother was in this facility for years. The hospice nurse at the end of her life said that they weren't even bathing my mother or brushing her teeth. I visited my mother from out of state when I could and watched this facility slide into what it became. We paid a fortune for her care. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES OR RETURN CALLS. Be aware of this. The director's mailbox is full. There is no receptionist. If you leave voicemails no one will return your calls. It's a dangerous situation to put a loved one in a facility that allows no communication with residents. Be very wary of putting a loved one here. No matter how cute and cozy it appears, they will take all your money, provide minimal care and provide no communication and will not respond to calls. This place should be investigated for fraud.
