I have lived here for over 10 years.The staff is very kind and helpful. The TV and especially internet and tablet as well PC help is superb Activity services and programs are enjoyable. Meals are served 3 times daily with dietary needs met Schedule a tour for a first class place to live Thank You Patrick

The stay here at the Grove of Northbrook was pleasant and the staff were caring and professional. I felt like I was truly cared. I wouldn't hesitate to come out if the need arose again. Also special shout out to Diana Laura and Monica at social services. Thank you for your care.

My uncle has been staying at the Grove of Northbrook for a while now, and after going THRU THE RINGER trying to find him a decent long-term nursing home, I honestly think we finally found the right place. He has a disability and we tried a bunch of places before this, including one of those "fancy" ones (ALIYA of Highwood, formerly Highland Park Nursing & Rehab). It looked beautiful, but the care was TERRIBLE. He fell multiple times there and it was honestly scary. We ended up at the Grove because a nurse recommended it, and yeah, I’ll be honest, it’s not the prettiest building. It definitely looks outdated and I DO think they should remodel. But here’s the thing: if you actually care about your loved one being taken care of by competent CNAs, nurses, and social workers, THIS PLACE IS IT. They are well-staffed. They know what they’re doing. And when I call with questions about my uncle, they ACTUALLY call me back instead of disappearing. That alone says a lot. I guess don’t judge this place by how it looks. We did that before, and it almost cost my uncle his safety. Here, I know he will be well-taken care of and I actually trust the care. I highly recommend you give it a shot.
