I heard about Griswold from a friend . During my mother’s last year in this world Griswold went above and beyond to make my mother’s transition comfortable for her . Her caregivers were always on time and friendly . Lauren the owner was so responsive and so good with communicating and navigating through everything . I could not express how thankful I am for Lauren and her team at Griswold . Our family highly recommends Griswold Home Care in Utica. We have been using their homecare services for my grandfather for about two years. During that time my grandfather has felt more independent and has had a better quality of life. The two caregivers who have come into his home and our lives have been empathic, reliable, trustworthy, and a part of the family. I truly do not know what we would do without these lovely ladies! The office staff is also wonderful. The director has been more than accommodating with our scheduling and financial needs, ensuring that my grandfather is never without care. She is also very close with her caregivers and always goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and taken care of. I employed Griswold for just over a year until my father passed away. Lauren, our care coordinator, was always very pleasant and professional to work with. She met all of our needs in providing qualified and compassionate care givers - some of whom became close friends. She was always easy to contact and responded quickly to changes to our needs. One thing to always keep in mind no matter what agency you hire; a good care coordinator will do her best to find a good match for you with the care giver she sends. But sometimes, despite the best of efforts, the person just doesn't work out. This happened twice with us. Lauren was always very understanding and quickly found us someone who worked out very well. I highly recommend Griswold if you or your loved one needs care.
