I looked into several agencies and chose Griswold based on a recommendation from our home health therapy provider. We are so happy to have Beth R providing care for my 98 year old father. He says she’s a “great talker”, meaning she has stimulating conversation with him and he looks forward to taking walks with her. Her level of care is outstanding. Griswold communicates well with me and I would highly recommend them and their people.

This review is about what the Griswold Home Care agency (and Terri Rosen) did, and did not, do in connection with the in-home care of my elderly father. First, what Griswold did for us. Immediately after the passing of my mother, it became clear that my father needed around the clock care at home. Terri placed with my father one of the most professional and caring and expert individuals with whom I have ever worked, in ANY context. Eric was personally awe inspiring and his empathy and expertise was simply remarkable. My father instantly took to him and welcomed his truly extraordinary care and caring. But more than that was what Terri and Griswold did NOT do. As it turned out, the second caregiver from Griswold was not a good fit for my father. To be clear, she too was caring and professional but the in-home dynamics were not working. Around that time, my father started working with another caretaker from another organization. Terri recognized that my father was better off with this new person and, rather than try to convince me to stick with Griswold, Terri recommended that we go with the new caretaker. Think about that: Terri put my father’s well-being and comfort above her economic benefit. Who would YOU want to in charge of caring for your loved one? I know who….

The Griswold Home care giver was an absolute pleasure and provided the most amazing care for my dad after his knee replacement. As a senior living alone, in home care was definitely needed. She was compassionate and so helpful providing encouragement and support during his in home rehabilitation. Best decision we could have made was hiring Griswold!

The Griswold Home Care Team are outstanding! My husband has Alzheimer's Disease so the need for experienced homecare professionals was, and is currently, a must. The fact that I can leave and not worry about him is a huge relief to me and our entire family. Sue, John and Marsett have been a real "God-send." I highly recommend Griswold Home Care.

I am writing to thank all those at the Griswold agency for their excellent in-home services. We had approached the point of needing 24 hour care for my mother and were referred to the Griswold agency by the hospice social worker. We met with Lauren and Sue and within a few days, they had a team in place. The caregivers were very kind and attentive to Mom's needs. They not only assisted my mother with activities of daily living but also kept the household running. They took care of the cat, made meals and did light housekeeping. My mother spent five extra months at home thanks to the Griswold agency. Lauren and Sue did a fantastic job of handling all scheduling issues proactively. We only had problems with one caregiver and she was replaced without further questions. Most importantly, we never had to go without a caregiver or attempt to fill in emergently with out-of-town family. I am very grateful to all those who cared for Mom so compassionately. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Griswold agency to anyone who is searching for care in the home!
