A Decade of Compassionate, Family-Led Care<br><br>Our relationship with Griswold spans more than 10 years, and I cannot speak highly enough of the extraordinary care they provided to my Sicilian Godfather.<br><br>What began as short-term assistance gradually evolved into 24-hour care, allowing him to remain in his one-bedroom residence at The Addington until he peacefully passed at 98½ years old. Because of Griswold, he was able to live with dignity, consistency, and independence in the place he called home.<br><br>What makes this organization truly special is its generational leadership. From founder Sue Althof, to her daughter Meg, and now with Sue’s granddaughter stepping into leadership, Griswold has transitioned across three generations while preserving the same values of compassion, professionalism, and integrity. That kind of continuity is rare — and it shows.<br><br>The caregivers were attentive, warm, respectful, and dependable. They became more than caregivers; they became trusted companions and part of our extended family.<br><br>Having experienced this level of care firsthand, I have recommended Griswold to several dear friends. Each family has shared the same outstanding experience.<br><br>In what can be a challenging season of life, Griswold provides peace of mind, stability, and true compassion. We were referred to Griswold in a time of a family health crisis for my elderly parents. Griswold, Elizabeth in particular, was very compassionate and efficient in arranging their care.
