GRENADA LIVING CENTER, is a VERY nice place to place your loved ones that you LOVE and Care for. The environment, dedication, love, cleanliness, and experience meet you at the front door. The staff is awesome, EVERYONE is always going over and beyond for the residents and family. I've never been in a facility that CARE about residents as much as GRENADA LIVING CENTER. It speaks volumes to me that from housekeeping to administration, they know every resident's Name. You want find a facility in Grenada that will CARE for your precious loved ones like GRENADA LIVING CENTER.

My husband has been here about 12 hours and I am sorry he is there. He is, too. He called me at 05:30 asking me to come get him. Medications were not given on time and when I insisted, the nurse (?) slapped a nebulizer down and never even identified what medication was put in, if any. He got medication before bed but says he wasn't told what anything was so doesn't know if he got the correct meds at the correct time. The room is so old and nasty. The toilet leaks, the heater/ac is falling off the wall. No comfortable chairs for visitors or the patient to sit on. Someone came in and yelled at him to pick up all his clothes and things, it was time for bed! Is he is a prison that there is a lights out? I was told wonderful things about this place but I have yet to see anything even as high as average. I will be attempting to transfer him to another facility asap.

My dear older friend has been a resident at Grenada Living Center for over a year now. The facility is always so clean, calm and orderly. She loves the food and the nursing staff is friendly and helpful. It's really an exceptional place for a loved one.

I am in town for the Gore Springs Reunion. Today, I visited our dear classmate, Cathy McMath Seals (Grenada High – Class of 1973). Over the years, Cathy has faced several health challenges, and I recently felt compelled to see her. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, friendly, and welcoming the facility was. I had not seen Cathy in over 50 years, and when I told her my name and asked if she remembered me, she was at first non-responsive. But I wasn’t ready to give up. I gently asked her to open her eyes and look at me—and she did. Cathy blinked several times, and then her eyes filled with tears. That moment let me know she recognized me in her own way. It was truly moving. I want to encourage any of our Class of ’73 classmates who are able, to stop by and see her. Even a brief visit may bring her comfort and remind her that she is not forgotten.

My dad is in GLC after having a stroke. Everyone has been very pleasant to deal with. The administrative staff was very informative when trying to get him transferred there. The food is homemade and good. The staff seem to have a lot of patience when dealing with the residents. They are taking good care of him & keeping me informed on how he's doing.
