Poorly ran facilities, not enough help, will not answer phone to check on loved ones, some of staff is just there for paycheck not trained very well, administrative support is very poor and changes often.

Please DO NOT send loved ones to this facility unless you want your loved one to live in filth. Management is a joke and doesn’t care about the wellness of patients. It wreaks of urine on the floor and management is the least bit of concerned. Management/ Administration is also very unprofessional and is only there solely based on a paycheck and not the wellness of patients. Please think a few times before sending loved ones there. Administration behaves in a way that shows that she really doesn’t care about improving the wellbeing of the facility. 10/10 do not recommend.

I cannot speak on the care that is given to the residents there, but I can only imagine by the experience I've had. I simply want to schedule some time to fellowship with the residents, play bingo, etc. We have done this before so it's not new. I'm going on the 3rd week of trying to get in touch with the activities director. The unprofessionalism is off the scale. The closest I got to speaking with her was when someone answered (surprisingly because they rarely answer the phone) and told her that she had a call. She screamed loudly "who is it?" the person who answered the phone laughed, and told her it wasn't her boyfriend. The call then disconnected. I've even went as far as to speak with who I was told was the director. He referred me to yet another number that no one answers, and no option to leave a message. I've called 4 different numbers, have spoken to 3 different people and still have yet to get the activities director. THREE WEEKS! Heck, I don't even know her name. I asked one of the 3 I spoke with for the activity director's name and she said she mispronounced her name and the lady was angry with her so she doesn't even try to say it. I can't make this up. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place. What kind of circus is going on over there? And if anyone in the facility reads this, which I doubt, you can tell her to at least change the name on the voicemail that she obviously doesn't check or return calls. It still has the last person's name as the voice prompt. Trash!

Staff is extremely rude when they do answer the phone. Half the time you can't even get through to speak to your loved one. My disabled sister had a black eye and scabs on her arms. Nurses blamed "other residents". on top of that, the place is filthy and smells bad. Toilet was full of feces. Do NOT send your loved ones here!!!!

Gregory Ridge is not glitzy and glamorous. However, I have found the staff to be genuinely kind, compassionate and competent. My loved one has been well cared for, to date, and Any issue that has arisen was adequately (and in a timely fashion) addressed. To clarify, I visit this facility often (as I would recommend, respectfully, with ANY care facility responsible for your loved one's care) and after many months, I've NEVER found my charge showing signs of abuse or neglect.
