Recently visited my aunt at this facility as she recovers from a stroke. The staff here have been nothing but the kindest and most accommodating people. I am so grateful to them and the work that they do.

I had a very bad experience recovering here back in 2024 from my foot surgery. The nurses were nice but did not treat me well. My room was very dirty as well. It really felt like I was in jail instead of a real nursing home. I made some friends there which is a plus. But overall, I did not like to get treated there after my foot surgery. So the next time I get surgery and go to a recovery center, I’m definitely not coming back here. The food also tasted awful. All I really wanted to eat was a PB&J sandwich. That’s all for this review.

The general level of care is very good. Only a few do not exhibit the care that most of the staff work at daily. The food is good. balanced and prepared with taste as well as attention. Once in a while noodles might be a bit over cooked, but veggies are seasoned and tasty. Sometimes the night shift does not respond as quickly as they should but night staffing is alway difficult.

As a volunteer for Community Hospice, I have the opportunity to visit many nursing homes in the Greene County and Albany County area; Greene Meadows is among the best! The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The guests seem happy and content. I would definitely recommend considering Greene Meadows if you are looking for rehabilitation or long-term care.
