First day my mom was transferred there they couldn’t help identify if she was there. I live out of town so I was in a panic. They transferred me around until I reached John who hung up on me. I finally called someone who knew the director to help locate her. While there she was administered the wrong medication. Thank goodness it wasn’t something that caused her issues. They took some of her clothes to wash and never brought them back. I was told that they had washer issues and had extra clothes she could wear. They never brought them and my mom had to wash clothes in the sink until I found out. Finally brought her clothes back over a week later. Some of the staff were rude and uncaring. There are a lot of people staying there. I pray that they can improve. I do not recommend this facility and do not plan on anyone I love going back.

Wanted to give a shout out to all the charge nurses (Maggie, Destiny, Ariel, Elisha), and the nurses that I cannot remember their names that have dished out all those meds. Shout out to Brandon and ALL the CNA’s who have cared for my dad on his wing. You are appreciated. He was moved to a new wing tonight, and I already miss those familiar, caring, smiling, and professional faces. I felt so good about his care on their wing. Thank you!

The reviews about neglect and carelessness are what we experienced as well with our loved one. Add in that one of the "care givers" admitted to being positive for Covid (in 2025) and not wearing a mask. She successfully passed it onto my family member. Open, oozing bed sores and a UTI were also diagnosed after a transfer to Singing River. If you are placing your relative here, you will need to come multiple times daily unannounced. Consider recording devices as well. Honestly, make any other arrangements you can think of before succumbing your loved one to this.

We placed dad here in March 2025. We have had a wonderful experience. He is safe, healthy, and getting strong. The staff have been so friendly and helpful. My dad tells me all the time how friendly and nice everyone has been. I am always greeted with a smile when I visit. The admin staff, social services, finance, nurses, CNAs, food service, PT, OT, and all I have met have been great to work with. The facility is bright and clean. So far so great. -Kathy Sears

If you are thinking about putting your loved one in this facility please choose somewhere else. My parent had 2 nurses that was really good to them, and you can tell they cared very much about their patients. Everyone else does not care. My parent would sometimes not get water to drink until I got there to get it from the nurse's station. When you try to talk to the DON they act like you are inconveniencing them. I would give them a zero stars if that was an option. We should have listen to the previous reviews before choosing for my parent to go here.
