So i visited this center just to see if these comments were all true and it turns out that they are not and that there is new management and talking to the new DON they are implementing a change management process with a focus on internal promotion, education, open communication and extensive patient centered care .

As someone who cares for her grandparents and a mother who passed in hospice I've dealt with several homes in Gallup..so I can say with honesty this is the best home..my grandma was taken care of as if she was their grandma..they had meetings with me where every person from each field were there to fill me in on her progress. They called me when there was issues or when she was doing well..I never have issues with this home or staff..and I will always suggest this place for any rehab or long term care for loved ones as long as they keep the staff they have now..I am so appreciative of every single person in this place who cared for my grandmother..I'm so grateful for them..even when there was an issue they dealt with it quickly and properly..without blame on a patient or family member..it was a relief I never felt at other homes. it might be a bit of a drive if u live in Zuni or Gallup but it's worth it if u want ur loved one to be cared for like u would care for them❤️.. thanks again to everyone at Grants wellness and rehab..I can't thank u all enough for the amazing care you have given to my grandmother and the stress y'all have taken off my shoulders so I could bring her home without worry after surgeries and illnesses..I would've been so lost and overwhelmed dealing with any other home esp Gallup..so I'm beyond grateful..❤️ they're all so kind and pleasant to talk to that it made it easy to trust my grandma with them..(I don't trust anyone to care for my grandma except me) so for me to allow trust of strangers shows they're worthy ❤️

Horrible place to work they refuse to pay agency cna in retaliation for horrible lazy nurses. The DON and HR keep reports of retaliation from the administrator never work here!

This place is a JOKE, I had a family member put in this facility from the doctor. They never took care of him nor did the job that they get paid for. Unfortunately due to the lack of care he did pass away. I called today to get some information that was needed and was really disrespected by the employee on the phone. Wouldn't give me her name at all. Just a response of 'GOOD DAY'. I really feel sorry for the family's that have to keep their loved ones in there.. I give them a flat ZERO, and will definitely take this further!!

I urge you empathetically not to leave your loved one in the care of this facility. They are vastly understaffed for the amount of patients in residence and the quality of care is so poor that it borders on abusive, and without a doubt neglectful.
