It's been a month since visiting my family and when I walked in the door she said help me, get me out of here And I was shock at see her condition, she had a bruise on her chest, her linen was soiled and her nails was long and dirty her hospital. Gown was dirty her tv was unplugged. I took it up myself to changed bedding I went in her closet and put on one of the gowns I bought, I washed her face and the nurse quote" you come in her tryin to change things I ask her to give me a list of her meds.the nurse said she's hollering disturbing the neighbors " I told management and she denied what she said in my face. Very very poor quality of care I I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. I went next door to visit another Family member a young guy and he wasn't there I ask the same nurse where was he and she ask Is he your family I said yes, and said I don't know, as I'm walking down all his roommate stop me and said the nurse couldn't get a response and called 991 and took him about a week ago. they made false report to medicaid in my behalf and they force and over medicaid her all true

I would like to praise the staff at Harborview Glenwood. They go above and beyond caring for residents and meeting their needs. The housekeeping department does and excellent job keeping the facility clean and smelling great. The administrator Mrs. Evelyn is very active on the floors, making rounds and talking with residents and making sure resident care is top notch. She is an excellent leader. Great job everyone!!

Terrible terrible terrible facility. My brother was admitted here for several severe health conditions. The nutritionist and kitchen staff does not adhere to or take into consideration, the patient’s health conditions when developing a meal plan. They were feeding my brother who is mentally ill meals that could worsen his medical conditions. When I spoke to the nutritionist/dietitian about it, she promised that she would make the change and the change never happened. He was in there for two weeks. In addition, while visiting this facility, I witnessed on several occasions, ill patients fall and call out for help and no one came - even had a nurse walk right past him, laying on the floor. Immediately walking into this facility reeks of urine. The nurses at the nurses station do not acknowledge visitors walking their floors. Anyone can enter the facility and there are no security measures. To make things worse, my brother’s discharge plan was screwed up and he was released home without the proper care which was supposed to be ongoing. The ball was dropped on the discharge plan and responsibility for his after care. This is a terrible facility And if you care anything about your loved one, you would not send them here

I’d like to share a positive experience I had with Michael, who was extremely helpful when I was bringing items in for my aunt. Michael took the time to explain the facility and point out where everything is located. He was patient and thorough, answering the many questions we had. When he didn’t know an answer right away, he made a mental note, went to find out, and returned with the information. This gave us confidence as we navigated the building. There were other visitors in the building, and Michael offered additional reassurance by providing clear guidance and staying with us to ensure we understood the layout and process. Beyond helping us directly, he introduced us to the staff who would be assisting our loved one, Mia, which added a wonderful, welcoming touch.Overall, Michael’s helpful spirit and attentiveness made the experience smoother and more comfortable during a time when clarity and support are much appreciated. If you’re visiting Harborview, you’re likely to encounter a similarly supportive atmosphere thanks to staff members like Michael and Mia.

My Brother has been living here for almost 6 months. At first I wanted to move him closer to me. (I'm an hour and half away.) But after seeing how good he is taken care of I just can't move him. He is always clean, his face is shaved, nails are clean and clipped and he is happy. He actually has a shoe on his left foot and he hasn't wore a shoe on that foot for about 8 years!! His foot is healed and looks so good!! I cannot believe how good he looks now. Yes, the home could use some improvements but I have never smelled a nasty or dirty smell any time I visit. I want to five a big shout out to Miss Turquoise for taking the time to let me know when he needs anything! She is precious! Thank you to ALL the staff for taking care of all our loved ones.
