I happened to cross paths with RN Nika from Gentiva who took care of hospice patient for over a year, and the amount of love, care and warm hugs blew me away. She was the most approachable nurse, who went above and beyond and made long-lasting meaningful connections with family members. As someone who works in tandem with hospice staff all over Unites States, I know how unique it is to meet a person who revives hope in humanity. Geniva - thank you for your amazing staff!

As a pastor for over thirty years who’s worked hand-in-hand with hospice teams, I’ve never seen a more caring, compassionate, or dedicated crew than Gentiva Hospice in Carroll, Iowa—if they were a restaurant, they’d deserve a Michelin star. Kelley Mead leads an outstanding team that went above and beyond caring for my mother-in-law for a full year, where she felt truly loved like a sister by her caregivers, making all the difference in her final days.

Gentiva Hospice of Carroll, Iowa provided exceptional care for my mom during a very difficult time. The entire team truly went above and beyond, treating her with the same love and respect they would give their own family. Their compassion, kindness, and professionalism were evident in every interaction. They not only cared for my mom with dignity and comfort, but also provided our family with guidance, reassurance, and support when we needed it most. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and heartfelt care they showed throughout her journey. I would highly recommend this wonderful team to any family facing a similar experience. I called Gentiva when my husband got ill in the nursing home around Christmas time. I cannot say enough good things about these ladies! They were there whenever I needed them and always available. It gave me such a comfort to know that he was so well taken care of. God bless you and all your staff!
