What Families Think

Garden Courte Memory Care draws a wide range of experiences from families, with many describing deeply compassionate, attentive care from long-tenured staff during difficult end-of-life journeys. However, a notable number of reviewers report serious lapses in care quality, particularly on what some describe as the more intensive-care side of the community, including medication mix-ups, unsanitary conditions, and inconsistent attentiveness.

  • Frequent activities, live music, and social engagement programs
  • Families praised compassionate end-of-life care and support
  • Staff helped ease difficult transitions for new residents
  • Daily updates to families via activity tracking app

The Bad

  • Several reports of neglect, understaffing, and unsanitary conditions
  • Multiple accounts of medication mismanagement or missed medications
  • One report of poor communication described as 'zero communication'
  • Care quality reported as inconsistent between different wings/levels of care

I moved my Mom into Garden Courte in April 2025, from another memory care facility. My mother received exemplary care and compassion here until she passed last week. It was nice to come into tha facility and see the same faces of the staff that you usually see and not a bunch of new ones. My mother had fallen many times at the other facility, but after the first fall here, they took extra precautions to make sure it didn't happen again. It is nice to see that they really care about the patient's well being and they don't see them as $$ signs. If I could've given them a 10, I would have. Thanks for caring for Mom.

The care my Dad received was beyond great! The whole staff is caring, full of compassion and always there to help. My Dad loved it there, even if he didn't have any wood to stack.

Took a tour with Tara and was very impressed with the facility, their downtown area is themed so cute! The staff is very friendly and the facility is very clean. I truly think anyone would be very happy here, don’t forget to come for a live performance every Thursday! They also make sure they personalize everyone’s experience too
