Gaia Remedy Assisted Living provides comfort and a homelike atmosphere for residents and their families. The environment is relaxed and promotes friendly, respectful interactions among everyone. The staff at Gaia Remedy is consistent, with little to no turnover, offering stability and familiarity. Many bedrooms feature balconies, enhancing the comfort and appeal of the living spaces. Additionally, residents enjoy holistic meals that contribute to their overall wellness. There is 24-hour supervision. Emergency systems and secure entrances are also in place. I moved my father, Frank, from a nursing home in Salida to Gaia Remedy. It was the right decision. Although his stay was only a couple of months, the change in his well-being was evident. Kate, the director, told me that the top priority at Gaia Remedy is to get to know the new residents, their preferences, dislikes, and what can be done to help them feel more at home. Frank enjoyed his conversations with Kate and the caregivers. Even when he occasionally displayed a grumpy attitude, he was still met with kindness and respect. Some of Frank’s favorite spots included sitting by the fireplace or in the sunroom, where he could enjoy the outdoor scenery. Communication was very good—if my father wanted to speak with me or if there was an issue, I was notified. The staff also made thoughtful suggestions, such as snacks or additional clothing, to ensure Frank’s comfort. On one occasion, a staff member even went to the store to purchase a needed supply for him. My father passed away on February 25, 2026, just a few months shy of his 101st birthday. My last memory of him is by the fireplace, where Skyler, one of the caregivers, brought him a drink and a small table before preparing his dinner. Although Frank’s time at Gaia Remedy was brief, the staff expressed genuine sorrow at his passing. They offered kind words, sent condolences, and organized a service to celebrate his life. Our family was welcome to return and visit whenever we wished or call if we needed to talk. I am deeply grateful to Gaia Remedy for the exceptional care provided to my beloved father and the support given to our family. This is how an assisted living facility should operate. read less

I have been an RN in Colorado for 46 years. I know what expert care looks like in a facility. Gaia's get's my highest praise. When one of my very best friends experienced a stroke, a friend found Gaia's. Best choice in the world. The description of Gaia's on their website is so true. Gaia's is everything you would hope for , when you need a residential place for a loved one. Every resident there is treated with grace and care and each of the important things in their lives are honored. One of the residents loves gardening and Gaia's supported her passion by helping her create a garden for her to spend hours . Animals are one of the most loving and essential supports to people and my friend gets to have her sweet dog in her room. The smell of home cooking greets you when you arrive. As an RN I praise them for their Covid precautions and keeping their residents healthy. Gai's is clean and welcoming. My friend needed a hospital visit and Amanda and Orrance, the owners were there to visit her in her need. The atmosphere is happy and loving. Multigenerational experience is a highlight with Amanda and Orrances toddler often at the dinner table with the residents. The love the residents have in their eyes having a child around is precious. Thank you Gaia's for caring for my beloved friend.

My mom has been a resident at Gaia for nearly 9 months; when she entered, she was recovering from a bad fall with a number of fractured bones. She could not walk on her own, had lost way too much weight, and was wheel chair bound. She could barely communicate, and was extremely unstable both mentally and physically. Fast forward to today, she is able to walk on her own with a wheeled walker, and has gained all her weight back (and more), and is back to reading 3-4 books a week. Her cognition and memory have improved, and she is better than we have seen her in a number of years. The great staff and focus on wholesome home cooked food has made a huge difference for her. The small environment, vs. a giant, unfeeling corporate assisted living gulag is a major plus for both staff and residents, and is a big part of her successful recovery I am sure. Couldn't recommend a better place...only drawback is we didn't have her in Gaia sooner!

One of my good friends has been living at Gaia's. She has been well taken care of, with people that love her as their own family. She has been living there for almost 2 years and wouldn't go anywhere else because of her great care! The food is excellent using organic fresh ingredients with great presentation. I wouldn't hesitate to put my mom and dad here when needed.

I have a friend who I visit often at Gaia's Remedy. I am always impressed when I come in. There are often several people sitting around the community table where they also have their meals. They all seem to be engaged in something. The whole place has a homey feel, and the people who work there are extremely friendly. My friend who lives there is very happy with the place. She has commented more than once about the quality of the food. I am also impressed with COVID precautions that they have taken. I have mentioned to my husband that if I need to go to an assisted living facility, that I would like to go to Gaia's.
