During a tough stretch with my Dad's health The Gables was wonderful. They thoughtfully and quickly worked with me to get Dad into a nice garden room. Staff was quickly brought up to speed on his condition and care. I'll recommend The Gables to everyone that needs care for an elderly loved one.

The Gables of Ojai, the historic birthplace of AARP, is a community that has it all! Delicious food and spacious suites surrounded by stunning gardens with a sparkling pool and gym. The people are what make the Gables community so special. From the welcoming staff to the friendly residents it is easy to feel right at home. If you are not interested in corporate cookie cutter senior communities then the Gables is the place for you!

We have been truly impressed by every aspect of this community. The attention to detail is evident throughout—from the beautifully maintained landscaping and inviting common areas to the thoughtfully designed dining area and room décor. All of these elements have left us feeling grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a welcoming and well-cared-for environment.

The Gables in Ojai welcomed my sister & I immediately after contacting the facility for information on their Memory Care . We were honest , we were dealing with a family crisis and they did not hesitate to open their doors for all of our many questions , helped us get a good sense of their community and responded clearly as to how they could be of help to us as we navigated towards a new home for our sister who is struggling with Dementia. We were met with a professional staff who cared, listened and supported us through the whole process of our sisters move-in. It’s a hard journey and a very emotional one ! We are so Thankful that we found The Gables and for their outstanding support during this very difficult time . We know and trust our sister is in the best of care .
