Failed to update records, sending communications to very old address. Failed to send procedure records to regular PCP as per request/release. Does not accept Medicare payment amounts for mammograms and results reading. People are very pleasant.

I have had to come to the E.R. quite a few times in the last 3 years, sometimes me, (70) sometimes my dad (93). My youngest brother and sister, my nephews and nieces and grandkids all born there. My mom was there before home hospice. My brother got kicked in the head by a horse at 3 years old, comatose, and the staff took care of him as if he was their own child. Plus other events too numerous to mention. So, let them have a bad day every once in a while, those jobs can be EXTREMELY stressful. The Garner family, Ojai Community Hospital patrons for 64 years and counting. Thank you all.

Felt like it used to be a pretty good hospital but as of my recent visit with a reaction to a new infusion I was scared and not comforted by any means and on top of it all overheard staff complain if I knew what was wrong why was I there. Obviously to seek medical attention and solve what I was going through. Never going here again.

My friend transferred her from CMH Ventura and is receiving great care of in a single room due to his just completing his first cycle of chemotherapy. The staff have been very kind to him.

6/29/25. 6:45am. I came in for a scheduled IV and antibiotics infusion. And right away I got attitude from the woman at the desk. I told her what I was there for and apparently they knew nothing about it.🙄 The attending morning doctor said "we usually don't do stuff like that here" and had an attitude and when I got called back the male nurse seemed annoyed that he had to do his job and install an IV.🙄 it bled btw.😒 And the experience with the night staff there was horrible! Everyone had an attitude and was short and rude to me. No very professional in my opinion.🤨😠 I mean, I do understand it was end of shift for them, it may have been a long busy night. I donno.🤷♂️? But come on man! Show compassion for people!😠🤨🙄 Sheesh! Get it together! In all fairness to Ojai Valley Hospital/CMH I have received good and even great care there in the past and even recently. So it's not always bad. And I do understand them being tired and it was close to shift change and they were ready to go home. But come on!🙄 On a lighter note, over all and most of the time, care there is great and it was just that one experience that just was not right! Not happy about it.😠
