My husband was released from the hospital, declaring that he was medically ready to leave. Our son & I panicked, not knowing where to send him for rehab. He had been in a 4 star facility several times. It was terrible! Fuquay-Varina had accepted my husband, along with all his needs, but they had a rating of only 1 star. As our son drove us to check it out in advance, I was thinking that I was going to hate it, and that there was no way I would send my husband to a 1 star facility. I had a big surprise. We were greeted by Brittany Holder, the Admissions Coordinator. She explained that she had only been in her position for about 2 months, & she was determined to make the place better. I do believe she is making a difference! The nurses, the therapists, and all who have come in contact with my husband have been pleasant, kind, and helpful. When my husband needs help, the response time is much less than in the 4 star facility. The physical and occupational therapists work daily to help my husband get stronger. I will no longer believe in the “star” system.

Being very familiar with the Healthcare system, I can highly recommend this facility. Their professionalism and experience in rehabilitation is evident each day . The clinical staff has been respectful ,gentle and attentive to all her needs physically and emotionally while she travels through this experience. 5 stars!

We’re very thankful for the care my relative received at this nursing home. The staff was kind, patient, and truly caring, and they always treated our loved one with respect and dignity. Communication was great, and it gave our family real peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We’re very grateful to everyone there and would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Yes. I really have no negative comments for this Facility. What I experienced when my grandmother was here was a remarkable staff that was governed by leadership of excellence. They were patient and cooperative with the care of my loved one. I would even say that they went above and beyond measures. Not only with my loved one but even with others that I saw there as I visited as well. The smiles and the laughter that some patience displayed when in the care of their caretakers. It made me feel secure and grateful to have such wonderful people who display the care and concern for your loved one. It made our family have a sense of ease at the time. I would recommend this facility under the driven direction of Cheryl Smith to anyone who is in need of care for their loved one.

You all have been so fabulous in taking care of my husband Sergio after his stroke this past July. I am so thankful for all the PT, OT and speech therapist they are all wonderful and treat him with respect and like a friend they are really rooting for him to get better! They were there on Thanksgiving working when most of us are home with our families so for that I’m forever grateful. Ali, Daniel. Val and Jerry thank you all so much. All the nurse and CNA staff have been wonderful as well. Thank you all again for all the hard work and dedication.
