The Independent Living community of Freedom Village is awesome. I am so blessed to be living here. My fellow residents are super friendly; also the department and dining staffs. The meals are excellent in taste, variety, and portion size. There are weekly professional performances and special events. Small groups meet for a variety of card and board games. There are multiple stations for solving jigsaw puzzles. Each apartment has its own heating and cooling control, and emergency alert button.  The bathrooms have showers, no tub to climb into.   Transportation is provided by friendly efficient drivers in nice cars to local medical appointments, shopping, & scheduled excursions. Freedom Village is centrally located for hospitals and medical offices. Around the clock health care is available as needed. Friendly weekly housekeeping is provided; linens and bed changing. The Cox TV & Wi-Fi system is adequate at an additional charge."

I have lived at Freedom Village for 11 years. My experience here has been nothing but wonderful. The people are friendly. The staff is wonderful. I love my apartment and there are so many activities. I can’t sign up for all of them.

I have lived at Freedom Village for over two years and do not regret the decision for a single minute. I looked at other facilities prior to moving here and none beat Freedom Village. The staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. The activities are diverse and tailored to our age group. There are clubs to fit most people's desires, and the social life is wonderful. You can choose to be as active as you want with many volunteer opportunities. To write a review without mentioning the food would be totally incomplete. The menus vary from day to day and week to week with special festive meals on the major holidays. The food is consistently good and plentiful. Management welcomes comments from residents and consistently makes changes and improvements based on those comments. A great place to live.

Freedom Village in Lake Forest California is a wonderful place to live. We were kind of skeptic about moving to an Assisted Living facility. Once we got here, we realized that this was the place for us. My husband had dementia and had to go to the Health Center when we moved in. The Health Center employees in Memory Care were helpful in assisting. My husband adjusted to his new surroundings and were extremely supportive in day to day activities. I have my one bedroom cute apartment after I moved in, I felt very comfortable being here. I’m glad we made the decision to move to Freedom Village. They have Activities to take part in, places to go that are interesting and fun, plus bus and car rides to almost anywhere you want to go. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and I really do love it here. You won’t be sorry choosing this place to live.

My mom lived in independent living for 2 years and loved it. She found the Freedom Village staff to be organized, friendly, and dependable. Due to a fall, she spent several weeks in their skilled nursing facility, where she also received excellent care. She eventually transitioned to assisted living, where she's been able to thrive for the past 18 months. Here also, the staff is responsive, kind, and attentive. She only has praise for everyone and how she is treated. We both highly recommend Freedom Village.
