Another update: They are at it again. Staff are stealing food bank food from Seniors AGAIN, they lock the main area bathrooms which makes it hard on Seniors to make it all the way back home to relieve themselves, charging full price on what is supposed to be low income housing for those on section 8, and are disorganized on paperwork sending second notices for things that have already been submitted. Owners should get rid of this management team! Enough is enough already! Update: A regional director reached out to us and has been working to fix these problems. We appreciate that they are making an effort to make things better. Beware!!! The current manager, Geraldine, is unethical. She is supposed to enforce the rules, but she breaks them instead. Here are some examples. Residents aren't allowed to have long-term guests, yet she has her boyfriend living with her. She (and Hannah, her secretary) steal food bank food that is meant for senior citizens. Geraldine allows her family to eat and party in the pool area even though residents aren't allowed to do so. She doesn't seem to mind that Hannah is rude and talks down to the elderly. She raised the rent by 21.62% to only certain residents which affects their portion out of social security just because she can. She dresses inappropriately and doesn't represent St Francis with the dignity they deserve. She also has removed people from the waitlist without notification and skipped over people who have been on the waitlist for four years! Geraldine has no property management experience which is on Indigo Real Estate Services for hiring someone with no training in senior citizen care and liability. Speaking of Indigo, back in 2018 a resident in their 70's tripped over a crack in the curb. This person was in the hospital for 3 days with a busted face. The management company never checked on them, never offered financial assistance, and to this day has NEVER filled in the crack! St Francis Healthcare System, is this what you want for the elderly that live there??? Get rid of the poor management and help all the kupuna!
