My parents recently passed away after 10 years at Fountain View. And, while I grieve the loss; I feel a sense of relief over never having to deal with Fountain View again. Management turned over frequently (4 facility directors in 10 years). And, they have consistently been disorganized, poor communicators, and their lack of professionalism resulted in an amateur environment that felt terribly inhospitable. My parents had a rodent problem in their apartment. And, after numerous calls/email a maintenance person set some traps and never returned for follow up treatment. That lack of consistent attention to a very unpleasant matter did not resolve the problem. I explained over and over again that the mice were in the suspended ceiling above the kitchen and bath and could be heard moving about. But, the problem was not effectively managed by Fountain View. The apartment above my parents flooded while being renovated. The water damaged my parents' apartment. And, although management was aware of the damage they never saw to it that repairs were made. As my parents needs increased, I attempted to change their care level from independent to personal care. Many calls/emails to the sales office went unanswered. And, once we connected; the price information provided was incomplete and misleading. After further attempts I learned that there were multiple pricelists. And, had I not been careful; we would have overpaid. My ongoing dilemma was, "do I move them to a better community or do I work harder to rectify the problems." Both options were stressful. It was a very unfortunate experience. And, I am relieved that it's behind me.

Very nice staff. Very attentive and responsive. Very knowledgeable about services and pricing. Very punctual security. Helps a lot with the residents and staff. Fun events and clean facility. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking to send their older family members.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with the team at Fountain View at Logan Square over the past year and a half, and the experience has been consistently positive. The staff is warm, welcoming, and highly responsive, which makes communication smooth and reliable. The community is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with spacious private apartments that support both comfort and independence. Resident life feels engaging and well-curated, with a strong sense of community. I’ve had the chance to attend several events, including programs honoring veteran residents, holiday activities like gingerbread house decorating, and even line dancing sessions. The gourmet meals stand out and add to the overall experience. Fountain View reflects a strong commitment to quality care and an engaging lifestyle.
