Foulkeways at Gwynedd

Foulkeways at Gwynedd is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania, serving active adults 65 years and older. Situated on 110 acres of wooded countryside in Montgomery County, the community has been setting standards of excellence in retirement living since 1967 as one of the first Quaker CCRCs in the United States.

As a Life Plan Community, Foulkeways provides a complete continuum of care with flexible health care options available on-campus, ensuring that residents receive award-winning comprehensive senior health care services at every level of care as needs arise. This structure allows residents to age in place while maintaining independence, quality of life, respect, inclusion, and choice.

The community features numerous living options ranging from cozy studios with private balconies to spacious 1-bedroom apartments and villas designed to complement residents' lifestyles. Three dining venues, an Art Room, and various activity spaces support an active retirement lifestyle. Residents participate in a wide range of programs including weekly aquacise classes in a heated, indoor Olympic-size pool, fitness programs, campus lectures, special interest clubs, and the Foulkeways Singers.

Foulkeways demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship and healthy living through initiatives including a Community Garden where residents grow vegetables and flowers together, a Forest Restoration Project, and investments in geothermal heating and cooling systems.
